MR. A. T. BOLTON.

Cable advice has been received in Sydney of the death at Kobe, Japan, of Mr Alexander Thorley Bolton, aged 47 years.

Mr Bolton, who was on his way to Yokohama by the steamer Nellore, was superintendent providore in Sydney for the P and O, the E and A , and the A U S N shipping lines. He was a son of the late Mr A T. Bolton, a stock and station agent of Wagga, and later a resident of Randwick. He was educated at the Sydney Grammar School, and joined the staff of the Sydney office of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co in 1909 He is survived by a widow and two sons
