MR. ANDREW INGRAM, SENR.
Mr. Andrew Ingram, senr., who died on Friday night last was 88 years of age. He was born in the County of Tyrone, Ireland, and went to Canada when very young with his parents. He was 68 years in Australia. He followed the goldfields in the early days with varying success. He conducted a general store at Tarcutta for about 27 years. He retired a few years ago, and has been living privately jn Beckwith-street. Wagga. He leaves a family of six sons and three daughters, John, Andrew, James, Thomas, Charles and William, and the Misses Mary, Juliet and Rebecca Ingram, of Wagga. The deceased, was very highly respected by a wide circle of relatives and friends. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon. The cortege contained a number of relatives and friends of the deceased from Tarcutta. Borambola, Holbrook, Spring Gully and Wagga, and a number of ex-Tarcutta residents now residing in Wagga. The interment took place in the new portion of the Wagga Roman Catholic Cemetery. The pall hearers were Messrs; John, Andrew. James, Thomas and Charles Ingram, sons of the deceased, and William Badewitz. a nephew. The Rev. Father Ryan officiated at the graveside. The remains were encased in a polished maple coffin, with silver mountings. The chief mourners were the relatives mentioned above, and his other son, William. The funeral arrangements were conducted by M'Intosh Bros. Daily Advertiser (Wagga Wagga, NSW : 1911 - 1954)Monday 23 August 1920 OBITUARY. MR.
