- Notes: Marriage Bells. On Monday about midday a very pretty wedding was celebrated at Christ Church, Queanbeyan, the contracting parties being Miss Sarah Moore, daughter of Mr. William Moore of Bulga Creek, to William, eldest son of Mr. John Oldfield. The bride was prettily attired in a costume of cream cashmere ,trimmed with satin pearl trimming and tucked ribbon, were a white felt hat tastily trimmed with gauze ribbon, lillies of the valley, and feathers, and carried a bouquet of daffodils and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Miss M. Moore, sister of the bride, dressed in cream cashmere trimmed with pink ribbon velvet, and cream hat trimmed with pink feathers, roses and chiffon-and Miss A. Oldfield, sister of the groom, in cream veiling trimmed with blue velvet, guipure and cream satin, and white felt hat trimmed with white and blue feathers, gauze ribbon and flowers. The bridal party was accompanied to the altar by Mr. J. Oldfield, father of the groom, and Miss L. Oldfield, who were a becoming costume of green silk poplin trimmed with silk and passementerie, and hat to match, Mr. R. Moore, and Miss L. Moore, the latter in fawn amazon coat and skirt. The bride, who wore a very handsome gold brooch (the gift of the bridegroom), was given away by her father, whilst Mr. G. Gribble acted as best man. The "Wedding March " was played by, Mrs. Downing. The ceremony over the wedding party drove out to the residence of the bride's parents at Bulga Creek, where a wellarranged and an inviting breakfast partaken of. There were a large number of presents, among which were : Mr. J. Oldfield-china tea set. Mr. Gribble-cruet. Miss M. Moore-clock. Mrs. Waters--set tea spoons. Miss A. Oldfield-. p. jam jar. Mrs L. Moore-cheque. Miss L Oldfield-s. r. cruet. Mrs. Wren-plush cushion. Mr. R. Moore-breakfast service. Mr. A. Oldfield-butter dish. Mr Moore-work basket and vases. Mr. W.. Moore-cheque. Friend-pair glass salad boles,. pair vases, set fruit plates. Miss McCauley-tea cloth.
