OBITUARY. MRS. ANNIE MARTIN. The funeral, conducted by Mr. W. H. Mclntosh, took place at noon last Thursday, to the Church of England cemetery, Yass, of Mrs. Annie Martin, relict of the late Mr. William. Martin, formerly of Murrumbatenian. The late Mrs. Martin, who left Murrumbateman about two years ago, died at Goulburn last Wednesday and the remains were entrained for interment at Yass. The late Mr. Wm. Martin, husband of the deceased, was maintenance man for the Gobdradigbee Slyire for over 20 years. During that time the Martin family resided at Murrumbateman. The late Mrs. Martin was of a retiring disposition and very fond of home life, but she acquired many life-long friends at Murrumbateman and was popular and well-known in the Yass district. Before her marriage she was Miss Annne Hall and was a native o£ the district. She is survived by eight children — three sons and five daughters. They are Messrs Jack (Murrumbateman) and Alfred and Harry (Goulburn), Mrs Blundell (Tumut), Mrs. Geo. Rottenbury (Murrumbateman), Mrs. Corcoran, Mrs Brown and Miss Dulcie Martin (Goulburn).
