Personal Notes:

Archibald McLean worked large sheep stations from 1861 to 1876 before purchasing Balangeath east of Junee. He was prominent in the development of Junee, being an elder in the Presbyterian Church, Committee member of the Show Society and member of Farmers & Settlers' Union. Ill-health and financial problems forced the family from the property.
