OBITUARY MR. R. G. OSBORN
The death occurred at the Leeton Hospital on September 13 of Richard George Osborn, at the age of 70 years, following an accident with horses. The deceased was a very, old resident, having been one of the original settlers on the irrigation area. He had moved thence from Adelong, where he had been engaged in mining pursuits during the prosperous gold days of that town. Interment took place at the Church of England cemetery, Leeton, after a short service at St. Peter's Church, conducted by the Rev. Hannaford. The carriers were members of ;the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, of which the deceased was. a very old member. He leaves a widow and four daughters—Mrs. F. J. Hogan, Mrs.C. H. Sorensen, Mrs. 0. H. Williams (all of Leeton), and Mrs. A. S. Towner (Wagga); also two brothers 'and one sister —Joseph, William, and Mrs. G. Doig, of Beechworth (V.).
