Robert Magraine A Reily in 1858 was the licensee of Reily‘s Hotel at Black Springs, later known as Reily's Crossing and giving the name to Reily’s Gap, now called Wondalga on the Adelong
Creek. He was there in the gold boomdays when Reedy Creek (Batlow) was in full swing and besides the hotel had a very prosperous store. The hotel was taken over by Robert Downing. Robert Magraine Reily married Martha Sharp and they had five children. |
