| - Notes: The next child, Sarah, whom you have as born in 1811, presumably from the 1841 census, appears in censuses in Saxton right up to 1891. The more accurate ages in subsequent censuses place her birth c. 1806/7.
According to Saxton parish register, she was born 26 Feb baptised 1 March 1806. 1806: Sarah, daughter of Joseph Gilliam of Saxton and Mary, his wife born Feb 26 bapt Mar 1st. In 1851 she is living with her widowed mother, Mary and is aged 44.There is also a grandson, James Bilbrough, aged 5. In 1861 she is still with her mother (now aged 80) and is aged 63. There is an 1 year old granddaughter, Sarah Bilbrough, in the household. In 1871 she is alone, aged 65. In 1881 she is aged 74. There are 2 other names in the household – Christopher Bailey and Mark Land; I don’t know who they are. In 1891 she is a lodging house keeper aged 84.
