The Tumut and Adelong Times 20 Nov 1928
WEDDINGS PROWSE— WALKOM At the Presbyterian Church, Cootamundra, on Thursday afternoon, the marriage took place of Winifred, second daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. F. Walkom, of Sutton-street, to Robert, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Prowse, of Adelong. The bride, who wore a pretty frock of coffee marocain and lace, carried a large sheaf of lilies. Misses Sylyia Walkom and Evelyn Coleman were the brides maids. Both wore crepe-de-chene. The former's frock was of mauve, and the latter's blue. Mr. McAnulty was best man. During the signing of the register, Mrs. McAnulty sang "The Voice that breathed o'er Eden." The subsequent reception was held at Mrs. Coleman's home, in Sutton street. After the honeymoon, which is being spent in Goulburn, the couple will make their home at Hermes, Sutton-st, Cootamundra. The numerous presents included many cheques. |
