"The photo attached is of the Petersen family. The lady in the lighter dress sitting down is Augusta Louisa Wilhelmina Petersen, nee Martens (Martin) born 1864 Banana Queensland. Her husband is behind her and his name is Heinrick Kam Petersen.

We believe that the lady in the dark dress sitting down must be Augusta's mother Justine Wilhelmina Martens (Flugge) (Naese) - well she looks as sour as her anyhow (just joking). Justine Flugge Naese passed away a couple of years later. Heinrick Petersen didn't have a mother in Australia, so that rules the lady out as being his mother.

My husbands mother is the little girl (about 3 years) at the back holding onto her older sister's hand."
