| Bertie Kay Bowman was born in Wagga Wagga and moved to Narrandera where he attended school. He enlisted at the outbreak of WWI and served on Gallipoli as an original ANZAC. Much later, in 1939 he moved back to Wagga Wagga and became Postmaster at Ladysmith for 11 years. |
