- Notes: Bridget's father came from Ireland to Australia in 1800. She would later marry in 1831 to Patrick and together they had 15 children. Patrick died in 1872 in Wollombi, and Bridget moved to Inverell (assumedly to be with her daughter) before passing away in 1885. She is buried alongside her daughter.

Family oral tradition "The first three children were born out of Wedlock to Patrick Reed, as John Pendergast, Bridget's father, would not allow Bridget to marry Patrick REED.
While permission to marry was granted by the Authorities in 1828,1829, it was done so on the proviso' that the parents agreed to the marriage, to which they did not."
