- Notes: Mrs. Catherine Liggins, widow of the late Mr. Frederick Liggins, died at the residence of her son, Mr. Geo. Liggins, Goulburn, last week. She leaves three sons and three daughters. She was born at Yass in 1850, and spent her early days at Wagra, in the Gundagai district, where she married Mr. Fred. Liggins. . The family left that district about 40 years ago, and went to Goulburn. Mr. Liggins was employed in the railway service until his death, two years ago. Mrs. Liggins was highly esteemed by the old hands of Gundagai, who were well acquainted with her. |
