OBITUARY MR. CHAS. IBBOTSON The members of the Ibbotson family received a wire early last week that their brother Charlie, of Sydney, had had a paralytic seizure and his condition was critical. Mr. Herb. Ibbotson, contractor for Jones Bridge, was driven by his daughter per motor to Cootamundra, where he caught the outgoing train from Tumut, for Syd ney, but on his arrival there his bro ther had passed out. Charlie was a native of Tumut and in his young days was one of the leading lights in organising social functions. He was 56 years of age.

The Late Mr. Charles E. Ibbotson. Brief mention only has been made of the death of Mr. Charles E. Ibbotson, second eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Ibbotson, of Russelstreet, who died at Icasia Hospital, Bondi, after a paralytic seizure. He went to Sydney from Orange on the previous Thursday night, where he had been engaged in the sale of a bankrupt stock, his wife remaining in Orange to wind up the business af fairs. He went to the residential it was their wont to stay while in the city, and was there stricken down with paralysis, losing consciousness. No one in the house seemed to be aware that Mrs. Ibbotson was still, at Orange, and the landlady knew nothing of the whereabouts of hls relatives. Eventually the police at Waverley were communicated with and through them his old friend, Mr. John Learmont snr. was located. He hied to the residential and then phoned to a Mr. Ryan, who was as sociated with Mr. Ibbotson in the Orange stock, and informed him that he was having him removed to the Icasia Private Hospital, at Bondi. Mr Ryan arrived at the hospital simultaneously, and Mrs. Ibbotson was apprised of her husband's condition. Tho patient's Tumut relatives were communicated with in the morning and Messrs Arthur and Herb Ibbotson set out by car and caught the express at Cootamundra for Sydney, arriving before their brother expired. Deceased, who was 56 years of age, married Miss Beta Godfrey, of Bondi There was no issue by the marriage. All the family, excepting Mr. Rowley Ibbotson, were present at the interment.
