Notes from John Brew..circa 1990..about Colin Clunn..
Colin had a child, John Colin Clunn to Emily Adeline Craig in 1902, who was later adopted by Emily Adeline's mother, Emily Evennett Thmson and her 2nd husband Thomas James Thomson, in 1915, and the child was known as John Colin Clunn THOMSON.

COLIN CLUNN was lost at sea presumed drowned, when the Japanese transport the MONTIVIDEO NARU was sunk by the U.S.A. submarine S.S.STURGEON at 3am, July 1 , 1942 about 60 miles NW of BOJIDORU CAPE, LUZON ISLAND. The prisoners left the Japanese P.O.W. camp on 22 June
1942 at RABUL, NEW GUINEA. The transport was bound for SAMAH.
