| Tailor, he arrived Sydney 2 Jan 1839 on the "Boyne", from Cromarty Bay, Ross-shire 1 Sep 1838 as a shepherd, with wife and eight children They settled in Canberra district where the family established properties in the Weetangera and Ginninderra regions. He was engaged as a shepherd on Duntroon, later recorded at Emu Bank and Goat stations, Coppins Crossing, NSW |
