Pic S2. this is a picture of Thomas Edward Butcher (my dad) on his wedding day to my mum Dulcie Ford (Lawrence) and her son John Frederick Lewis Ford who carried the ring.
You can see Thomas Edward Brandt Butcher (my grand father) over dad’s right shoulder. My dad’s brother Stanley Holmes is over his other shoulder who was his half brother and Bertha never mentioned his father, we know he was born out of wedlock. Bertha is just out of shot in the striped coat.
