OBITUARY MRS. E. TRIMBLE The death occurred recently of Mrs. Ellen Trimble in Sydney. Deceased was the wife of the late Wm. Trimble, who predeceased her last September. The late Mr. and Mrs. Trimble lived at Gun dagai for a number of years, where they reared a family of nine sons and daughters. Mr. Trimble worked for the late Ted Leary and about thirty years ago they left Gundagai to reside in Sydney, Mr. Trimble taking a position as caretaker at the big firm of Cook and Sons, carriers in Wattle-Street, where Mr. Trimble resided until his death. The late Mrs. Trimble then went to live with her family, where she resided until her passing at the age of 88 years. She was the eldest daughter of the late John and Martha Clarke of Jellingroo, who predeceased her many years ago. One brother, Alfred, and one sister, Mrs. W. Whitickcr (Priscilla) also predeceased her. Brothers and sisters still living are Robert (Tum blong), Richard (Mt. Adrah), William (Frampton), Albert (Cootamundra), Percy (Cobar) ; two sisters. Mrs. P. Quinnell (Adelong) and Mrs. O. J. Dennis (Mt. Adrah). She also leaves a family of eight sons and daughters, John (Hurstville), Gus. (Five Dock), Cyrus (Forest Lodge), Leslie (Forest Lodge), Ada (Carlton), Criss (Gunda gai), Lydia (Annandale) and Mervel (St. Peter's). |
