OBITUARY. MISS DOROTHY MAY CARTER.
Dorothy May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Carter, of Nowra, who for the past two years has resided with her grandfather and aunt, Mr. George and Miss Carter, at Upper Gilmore, died at the Tumut District Hospital on Monday morning, aged nine years. She was admitted to the hospital a fortnight previously, suffering from appendicitis. An operation was performed two days afterwards. Matters were going on satisfactorily until a few days ago, when cerebral complications set in, causing death. The funeral takes place this afternoon, leaving the hospital for the Old Cemetery at 2 o'clock.
