News of a sad fatality reached Wagga early yesterday, when at 7 a.m. Mr. J. F. De Groot received a telephone call from Sydney advising him that Mr Edgar Roy Angel had been killed. Only meagre particulars could be gleaned, but Mr. Allan Angel, of Randwick, advised Mr. De Groot that his brother-in-law, Mr. Edgar Roy Angel, was the victim of a motor cycle and motor cycle collision at about 4.30 on Saturday afternoon, and that his injuries were of so extensive a nature that he died without regaining consciousness at one o'clock on Sunday morning.

It appears that Mr Angel, who resided at Auburn, had been assisted in pruning in his orchard during Saturday by a young man, whom he later undertook to drive to his home. For this purpose he got out his motor cycle and side car and started off along the Parramatta-road. When near Flemington Hotel Mr. Angel endeavored to pass a vehicle travelling in the same direction. In doing so the side-car came into collision with a motor bus travelling in the opposite direction. The motor cycle swung round and came into violent contact with the bus. The occupant of the side-car escaped with minor injuries, but Mr Angel sustained extensive injuries, and was unconscious when picked up. He never regained consciousness, and as stated, died at one o'clock yesterday morning.

Deceased was only 28 years of age, and leaves a young wife, who is in a delicate state of health, and two little children. He was born at Lake Albert. Wagga, and was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Angel, of Lake Albert and Nangus and a brother of Mrs J. F. De Groot, and Mrs. J. W. Glenn of Lockhart. Two brothers also reside in the district, Mr. Robert Angel, Borambola and Mr. A. C. Angel, North Wagga. The funeral will take place tomorrow. The sympathy of a large circle of friends of the family in this district will be extended to the bereaved widow and brothers and sisters.

FATAL COLLISION.
Edgar Roy Angel, of Cumberland-road, Auburn, who suffered concussion of the brain when a motor cycle he was driving and a motor bus collided on Parramatta-road on Saturday afternoon, died In hospital early yesterday morning.
