Personal Notes:
The death, occurred in a private hospital in Wagga on Saturday night of a highly esteemed resident of the Humula district, Mrs. Ileen Gladys Nugent, of Umbango, after a short illness, at the age of 21 years. She. was the wife of Mr. Allen David Nugent, of Umbango, and had resided in the district the greater part of her life.

She is survived by her husband and one infant son, her parents (Mr. and Mrs. John Francis Harvey, of Humula) and one brother (Mr. John Allen Harvey, of Humula), and two sisters (Misses Elizabeth and Annie Harvey, of Humula). Burial took place at Humula.

The funeral of Mrs. Ileen Gladys Nugent of Umbango, who died in a private hospital in Wagga on Saturday night, alfter a short illness at the age of 21 vears took place yesterday afternoon, the cortege moving from Mr. J. C. M' Donald 's funeral parlor, Wagga at 12 o'clock.

As the cortege passed through Tarcutta and Umbango it was joined by many cars containing friends and on arrival at the Humula cemetery the funeral procession was a very large and representative one, showing the esteem and respect in which Mrs. Nugent was held throughout the district. The Rev. Father B. W. Hayden, of Wagga officiated at the graveside .

The coffin, laden with floral tributes, was carried to the grave bv Messrs. E. O'Keefe and A. M. Harvey (uncles), A. Harvey (brother), W. P. Cheney (uncle). F.Stanton (cousin), and Allen Nugent (husband). The pallbearers were Messrs. H A. Cheney D. Cheney (uncles). F. Stanton (cousin), V. Ingram. C. Nugent and J. Hart, while the flower tray was carried by Messrs. C. Cheney, A. Cheney (cousins) J. Collins and G. Wilson.

The chief mourners at the graveside, in addition to those mentioned, were Mr. John F. Harvey ((father) Mr. Peter Nugent (father-in-law'), Mr. John Allen Harvey (brother), Misses Jane and Annie Harvey (sisters), Mts. T. Cheney. Mrs. H. Harvey, Mrs. J. Brooks, Mrs. A . M'Pherson, Mrs C. O'Keefe, Mrs S. Harvey (aunts), Messrs. C. O'Keefe, J. Champion, S. Harvey, and A. McPherson (uncles), Mr. S. Cheney, Miss Val Cheney, Pat Cheney, Ray Cheney, Jack Cheney, Misses Marjorie, Rita, Sylvia, Alister, Laurel, Helen, Yule and Eileen, and Hector, William and David Cheney (cousins), and a large number of friends from Wagga. Tarcutta, Westbrook, Oberne Creek, Umbango and Humula and district. Among the many floral tributes were wreaths from the Humula Football Club, the Humula Parents and Citizens' Association S. V. Best and Co. (Wagga), the Presbyterian Girls Fellowship Association, the staff of the Commercial Hotel (Wagga) and the staff of the Australian Hotel (Wagga). Mrs. J. F. Harvey (mother) was through illness, unable to be present.

The funeral arrangements were conducted by Mr. J. C. M' Donald, of
Wagga.
