Personal Notes: |
Aged 69 Years
Daughter of Colin and Anne nee Cameron Immigrated to the colony in 1852 on the ship ' Sir George Seymour' Married Thomas in 1866 at Tumut with 11 children born of this union. The Albury Banner and Wodonga Express (NSW : 1871 - 1938) Fri 15 Sep 1916 TUMUT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Monday, September 11. The death occurred at Brungle of Mrs. Thomas Hill on Tuesday last, at the age of 69 years. Death was caused by paralysis, and by a strange coincidence, occurred on the 50th anniversary of her wedding day. Arrangements had been made for celebrating the golden wedding, but the day previous, the paralysis set in, and the event was postponed. A doctor was called in, but the grim reaper claimed its victim. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved family of whom two are at the front. |

If you find errors - anything incorrect (dates, places, wrong parents, wrong children), and you have evidence, I would love to fix them. Or, if you have information that would extend my projects, do not hestiate to contact me on the email link below. I do not publish information on living people - which means I'm not much interested in people born after about 1920, and I usually distrust material from before about 1770 without extremely good sources. g.bell@bigpond.net.au When you click the mail address abouve, if it does not open your email app, copy the address on the screen.
