- Notes: The death occurred early on Friday morning of Mrs. Burge, the mother of the famous Rugby League footballers, Peter and Frank. Frank Burge was chosen to lead New South Wales against Queensland on Saturday last, but dropped out of the team. Mrs. Burge, who was 64 years of age, had been dangerously ill with pneumonia since early in the week. Four sons and three daughters survive her. |
