The Inquest for George only cites having "a son" living on King Parrot Creek, now deceased, but no name given, nor does it name his wife or children while the Probate for William does not mention by name either parent or any siblings, the connection therefore being pure conjecture. WILLIAM WHITTAKER d.1870 Memorial 200803064: There is no registration of William Whittaker d.1870 on the Seymour Burial Register - his Death Cert. clearly states: Birth - date unknown, Sydney; Death 23 Feb 1870 King Parrot Creek; Burial 26 Feb 1870 King Parrot Creek, Undertaker Charles Hillier, Witness William Doyle. Daughter of William Sugden and Esther Martha Keighley, born March 22, 1806, Bradford, Yorkshire, baptised May 20,1806 at Idle near Bradford, wife of George Whitaker who died at Seymour, Victoria in 1873. |
