Personal Notes: |
In 1868 Ernst Gustav travelled with his parents to NSW where they settled at Bethel. In 1884 he took up land which had just been made available for settlement at Pleasant Hills. For the remainder of his life he stayed on the block he had selected. He was a foundation member of St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church at Pleasant Hills, he helped to build it and for forty years was an organist there. |
