Emma Ablong was buried on 20-8-1913 in Section : 5-I-6-17 . She passed away at 5 Ashley Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Cecil G.S. Ablong (Grave No.4570), Joan Ablong (Grave No. 5870), and Reginald Sydney Ablong (Grave No. 8145A), were co-buried with Emma Ablong in the same grave . They were Emma's grand children. There is a memorial for Alfred E. Ablong (one of Emma's sons), who was killed in action in 1941 and whose body was never found. Inscription In memory of our mother Emma Ablong Died August 24th 1913 Cecil Born 22-11-23. Died 19-9-24 Joan Born 19-5-27. Died 27-5-33. Long days and nights she bore her pain. To wait for cure was all in vain. But God alone, who thought it best, did ease her pain and give her rest. She bade no one a last farewell. She waved her hand to none. Her spirit flew before we knew, that from us she had gone.
