Son of Gotlieb and Julie Diebert.
MR. E. E. DIEBERT Mr. Ernest Edward Diebert, of Wantabadgery, died somewhat suddenly yesterday at his home at Wantabadgery at the age of 72 years. He was born at Angora Park, South Australia, and was the second eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Diebert, of Lockhart and Howlong. He was married at Albury to Miss Emma Bertha Polina Miller, who survives him. There are four sons and six daughters- Messrs. Ernest Edward, of Culcairn, Robert August, of Gumly Gumly, Charles Alfred, of Wagga, Oswald Percy, of Wantabadgery, Mrs. S Fuller, of Sydney, Mrs. L. M' Glynn, of Sydney, Mrs. G. Menz, of Wantabadgery, Mrs. B. Johnson, of Goolgouri, Mrs. M. Paton, of Wantabadgery, and Mrs. A. Wasley, of Wagga. There are also 29 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mr. Diebert followed farming pursuits with varying success at Lockhart and Big Springs, and of late years he had been living at Wantabadgery. Two brothers, Messrs. August, of Kyemba, and Gustave of Jindera, and one sister, Mrs. Ambrose O'Brien, predeceased him. Mr. Diebert was highly esteemed by a wide circle of relatives and friendB for his many kind and thoughtful actions. The funeral is appointed to leave his late residence at Wantabadgery to-day at 3 o'clock for the Wantabadgery cemetery.
