Captain George Blacker was born on 27 December 1784.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Stewart Blacker and Elizabeth Hill.1 He married Anne Sloane, daughter of Captain William Sloane.1 He died on 31 August 1815 at age 30, of wounds received during the Battle of Kolunga.1
Captain George Blacker gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Honourable East India Company Service (H.E.I.C.S.).1 He fought in the Battle of Kolunga. |
