COWIE AND PARRAMORE JOURNALS NS498
Originals were lent to the Archives Office of Tasmania for copying. Part One is diary of Georgiana Cowie on her voyage to VDL on the Eveline 9 Aug 1834 - 28 Dec 1834 (pp. 2-22), Scientific information (pp. 93-135) and Jounal of stay in London 24 Dec 1864 - 16 Mar 1867 (pp. 136-225). Part Two comprises Journal kept by Miss Parramore, daughter of George, of voyage to VDL on the Woodlark 6 March 1823 - 8 July 1823 (pp. 1-3) and a Journal, author unknown, of voyage to VDL on the Marmion 16 June 1843 - 26 Sept 1843 (pp.3 - 20).
