Made wedding gowns and ball gowns. She had shop in Cloncurry. Mavis helped with some of the handsewing finishing off. Called Nell as a child. The only one who could stand up to her was Frank. Met Jack in Mt Isa. Married in Cloncurry. A Fashionable wedding. Reception at home in a house with three verandahs - had a piano. Helen played - all the latest songs. Sing around the piano of a Saturday-Sunday night - the in circle. To flirt with the boys. |
