| Henry Gibson Kemp Born in Scotland, he came to Tumut where he worked on the land. He married Jane Carberry in 1850. June had arrived as a 14 year-old in February 1849 from Ireland and was engaged to work for Mr John Whitty at Blowering Station. Henry Gibson Kemp first worked as at carrier then, after a stint at the Beechworth diggings, took up land at Windowie. |
