Arrived in Australia aboard "Othello" in 1834. Appointed postmaster Wollongong, Clerk to the Bench of Requests in the Illawarra. Dismissed from above posts, sent to gaol (old Sydney Gaol) for two years for fraud. Lived in New Norfolk, Tasmania. Lived final years in Sydney. |
