- Notes: We have been researching Murdoch McKenzie for many years and have come against a brick wall regarding Christina Cameron and Margaret Adamson. Jessie Cameron died on 21st December 1862 (of fever 3 days) after giving birth to Murdoch Duncan who only lived for four days according the Jessie’s death certificate.
From the marriage certificate of Murdoch and Christina, Christina was a widow and aged 24 years. The parish records state that her parents were Hugh & Mary Cameron. Christina was a cousin of Donald Cameron, Dame Mary Gilmore’s father. That is the last we can find any information on Christina. In an obituary of Murdoch McKenzie’s death in the Wagga Wagga Advertiser dated 10th October 1895 there is no mention of any wives. It just states that he leaves a grown up family. On his death certificate it only shows his first and second marriage. |

This public tree has about 60,100 people. Every person in the tree is related by birth or marriage to at least one other person in the tree - no strays. The people in the tree come mainly from four projects.
If you find errors - anything incorrect (dates, places, wrong parents, wrong children), and you have evidence, I would love to fix them. Or, if you have information that would extend my projects, do not hestiate to contact me on the email link below. I do not publish information on living people - which means I'm not much interested in people born after about 1920, and I usually distrust material from before about 1770 without extremely good sources. g.bell@bigpond.net.au When you click the mail address abouve, if it does not open your email app, copy the address on the screen.
