The Tumut and Adelong Times 3 Jan 1867
Obituary. — It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Mr. John Bruce, from an accident received last Thursday in his claim at Adelong. The deceased was a most honour able and worthy man, and his loss will create a blank in the Odd Fellows' Lodge, of which be was an active member. He leaves a wife and large family, who will reap the advantages of the deceased's frugality from the Widows and orphan's fund of the society. |
