| - Notes: WEDDING. GILLINGHAM—DOWNING. The marriage of Mr. John Gillingham and Miss Margaret Elizabeth ("Peggy") Downing, daughter of Mr. Matt. S. Downing, of Tumut, was celebrated on Saturday evening at 7:30 by Rev. Fr. Devine. The bride looked charming in a grey tailored costume with shoes and hat ensuite. Mrs. Alex McKenzie was matron of honor and Mr. B. Bennett filled the role of best man. Dejeneur was partaken of at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Howitt, where the usual toast list was honored. |
