SHEPPARD.— In sad but loving memory of our brave and only son, Private Charles Henry Sheppard, of 56th Battalion, killed at Polygon Wood, on the 26th or 27th of September, 1917.
The winds of heaven blow softly
O'er that sweet and hallowed spot.
For, amid the changing scenes of life,
Dear son, Charlie, you are not forgot.
