| - Notes: Have just come across "Malta Family History". a site which has fiven me the baptisms performed by the Reverend D.P. Cosserat. One of these states - 9th September 1806 - Benjamin Madden - The son of Jane and Charles Madden 44th Regiment. Think that this must be our Charlie as I cannot imagine two Major Charles Madden's in the 44th Regiment at that time.
