Joseph Wyburn a builder was living in Tumut with his wife Catherine in 1877 when he was employed as a builder and carpenter on erection of the Roman Catholic Church. He was "also employed on the construction of the Convent at Tumut.
In 1885 the family moved into their new home on the southwest corner of the intersection of Simpson and Sydney Streets where they lived during the remamder of their lives. They had ten children. |
