- Notes: MR J A MAIDMENT Mr. John A. Maidment, of Minjary, who was admitted to the Tumut District Hospital on Friday night and was operated on Saturday morning by Drs. Browne and Clouston for a twisted small intestine, died that afternoon, aged 71 years. He leaves a widow and family. Obituary next issue.
