Personal Notes: |
I am doing some research into the above named person, who I believe served in the Royal Navy between1884 to 1897 ( approximately), when I purchased what I believe to be his Midshipman's log book. I came across your family tree and wondered about your link to him? It does seem to be the same man.
I wonder if you could provide any information about him. I presume he become unwell and had to leave the navy, but any details you have would be interesting . He does seem, from his log book to have been a good artist, with some very good water colours in the book when he served on HMS Monarch, HMS Agincourt and HMS Crocodile in 1884/5. |
