Personal Notes:

The Tumut and Adelong Times 4 May 1926 By the death of Mr. John Turvey, which took place in the "Welwyn" Private Hospital, Wagga, recently, one of the best known residents of Junee for the past 30 years, passes. Deceased in his younger days was a good shearer and for a quarter of a century shore for Wantabudgery Station and Mr. J. F. Quilter, of "Claris Park," only last year. Mr. Quilter presented deceased with a gold medal to commemorate his quarter of a century as a shearer at "Claris Park."
