OBITUARY MR MARTIN CURRAN The death took place at his residence, Caulfield, last week, of Mr. Martin Curran, fourth son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Curran, of Adelong, after a short illness, death being due to pneumonia. He was well-known in racing circles and had training stables at Caulfield. He was a brother of the late John Curran, who passed away in the Tumut Hospital two months ago. He is survived by five sisters, Mrs Tom Quilty of Gilmore, being one, and four brothers, also a wife and son who mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. His remains were buried in Brighton Cemetery, Rev. Father O'Brien performing the last sad rites at the graveside. |
