Adelong and Tumut Express 16 Jan 1925
News came to Gundagai last Friday of the death of Mrs. Vincent, for years host of the Coolac Hotel, Coolac. Mrs. Vincent was a member of the well-known Hill family, of Coolac, and was born there. For years she and her husband conducted the Coolac Hotel, and some years back they sold out and went to live at Cronulla. Within a space of 12 months three of the girls of the Hill family have died. Miss Kate Hill, Mrs. Cyrus Crowe, and now Mrs. Vincent. One son, Mr. Ernest Vincent, is left behind, as well as three brothers, Messrs Anthony, William and Rufus Hill, and one sister, Mrs. Jackson. Deceased was 65 years of age. |
