Related Places The Cricketers' Arms From the 1840s until about 1858 Julia Webb (known as 'Judy the Great') operated a sly grog... Malachi Hollingsworth was born in 1844 probably in the Gundaroo district. His parents were emancipated convicts: Michael Hollingsworth and Maria (nee Prestage). He married Susannah Curran in 1873 at Yass. They had ten children together. The Hollingsworths ran the Travellers' Rest inn at Murrumbateman. In 1898 they purchased the Cricketers' Arms at One Tree Hill and ran the hotel until Malachi died two years later. Susannah took over the licence in her own right and ran the business for several years after Malachi's death. References Gillespie, L.
