Death seems to be constantly in our midst, and one by one snatches from us dear relatives and friends. The last to pass over the Rubicon is Mrs. McKinnon, wife of Mr. Hugh McKinnon, of "Greendale," Tomorroma, her demise occurring yesterday afternoon. About three weeks ago serious symptoms followed on confinement. Dr. Mason and Mrs. Hughes (the nurse) gave every attention to the case, and a few days since a change for the better buoyed up hopes of a recovery; but it was not to be so, death supervening after a trying ordeal. Nine children(including the infant) are left to the care of a broken hearted father, and with him to mourn the loss of a devoted mother and wife. They have the deepest sympathy of the community at large in their irreparable loss.
