OBITUARY
MRS. MARY JONES.
The death occurred last night of Mrs. Mary Ann Jones, at the age of 82 years, and after a long illness, at the residence of her son John in Fitzhardings-street, Wagga. She was the relict of the late Mr. William Jones, of Kyeamba Creek, who predeceased her by many years. She was born at Braidwood and married her late husband there. She was a kind friend to many in the early pioneering days and had resided in the Borambola and Kyeamba Creek districts with her family for over 50 years and for the last few years she resided with her son. She leaves a family of four sons and five daughters. They are: Messrs. Thomas Jones, of Tywong, William P. Jones, of Wagga, Luke Jones, of Lower Tarcutta, and John Jones, of Wagga; and Mrs. R. Bisiker, of Annandale, Sydney, Miss Emily Jones, of Wagga, Mrs. P. Ryan, of Alfredtown, Mrs. R. Power, of Wagga, and Mrs. J. Johnston, of Homebush, Sydney. There are 44 grandchildren and a number of great- grandchildren. The funeral is appointed to leave the residence of her son John, in Fitzhardings-street, Wagga, this day at 3.30 p.m., for interment in the Roman Catholic portion of the Wagga Cemetery.
