-0- WE regret to announce the death of Mrs. Mary Ann Gambell, relict of the late Edward Gambell, which took place at Woodfield, Sutton road, on Wednesday last. The deceased was a very old. and well known resident of the district and had reached the age of 64 years. Mrs. Gambell had not been in her accustomed health for some time and had been under the care of Dr. Blackall. The cause of death was inflammation of the digestive tract. The remains of the deceased lady were interred in the Wesleyan portion of the general cemetery yesterday afternoon in the presence of a large concourse of friends and relatives. We offer our sympathy to the latter in their bereavement. |
