The Tumut and Adelong Times 9 Sep 1920
Death of Mrs R Downing Quite a gloom was cast over our town on Wednesday morning last, when it became known that the distinguished and respected old resident, Mrs E. Downing, proprietress of the Star Hotel, had passed away to her last resting place, at the advanced age of 73 years, the cause of death being kidney and heart trouble. The funeral took place next day. Full obituary will be given in next issue. |
