Orem Man Succumbs At Age 83 THE HERALD, Provo, Utah Thursday, August 6, 1970

Orem-Alvin A. Loveridge, 83, 66 S. 800 W., Orem, died at Utah Valley Hospital this morning of a lingering illness. Born Nov. 25, 1886 in Provo, the son of Alvin Nelson and Elizabeth Rosequist Loveridge, he married Pearl Skinner Oct 20, 1909 in Provo. She died Nov. 6, 1954.

He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a farmer and carpenter. He moved to Orem as a child and has lived in Orem since then.

Survivors include son, Elroy A. Loveridge, Alpine; daughter Mrs. Elmer (Verlillian) Spear, Orem; brothers, Don Loveridge, Orem, and Elmo Loveridge, Salt Lake City; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. LaPreal Smith, Orem, and Mrs. Elgva Aston, Orem.

Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary in Orem under the direction of Bishop Alfred J. Meredith. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
