TIMOR MINING DISASTER.

MARYBOROUGH, Tuesday. — The cir-
cumstances surrounding the disaster which
occurred at the Duke United Mines Limited
on the 10th inst., by which two men, named
Stephen Hill, aged 46, and Thomas Francis
Rowan, aged 45, lost their lives, and three
others were injured, were related at the ad-
journed inquest, held by the coroner, Mr.
W. Leader, P.M., at the Victoria Hotel,
Bowenvale, to-day.
